tamisha and derrick are very special to me. i actually met tamisha back in 2006 when i started graduate school. we were introduced through one of my colleague's. then, a few months later, she moved into my old apartment complex! so we were, in a sense, neighbors. i would see her and derrick often, but mostly in passing so i never got a chance to formally meet derrick. as the years passed, we remained friends via the wonderful facebook. when she got engaged, i was very happy to hear from her about an engagement shoot. they were an absolute joy to work with. we started early in the a.m. to make sure we avoided the scorching heat here in kansas. they flew in from arizona, so the heat was nothing to them. the humidity, on the other hand, is a separate issue. :)love you guys....xoxo
